About me

Hey, I’m Tom & these are my creations. I'm a descendent of two uniquely amazing artists ~ painter & weaver Rachel Kupfersztain & the painter & sculptor Heinz Moritz.

I work by intuition and my main muses are: Emotions, Nature & My Grandparents.

My beloved Opa, Heinz Moritz, an abstract painter and sculptor who valued going against the grain of society. He was known for his creation of the awards for the first Australian televisionised TV awards, his abstract work with Australian timbers, and a seat on the Melbourne Art Community.

My dear Safta, Rachel Kupfersztain, was born with a passion for art and began drawing & painting from a young age. She continued to complete an arts degree and started knitting wall rugs which developed into her own line of knitwear. Painting continues to be her greatest passion.
